YAY! IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!! [link]


So, when HotO first opened, I knew I couldn't join, as I'm bad at being as active as I'd need to be, and dogs aren't my forte anyways~ (Not that THAT was all too important!) SO! I decided to do some FAN ART! I needed an idea for my oil painting, which are supposedly good for bgs, and HERE IT WAS! So I started! I've probably spent about five to seven hours on this piece, and it was GREAT practice for a ton of stuff! And I discovered I dislike cacti when they won't show up against the bg. I think I actually spent some lunches working on it too. <^^>

And Critiquers, I know I could have shaded the dogs themselves a LOT better, you know, by ADDING SHADING to them- but as I was working with traditional paints, this means switching colours for every colour change, which I was just not willing to do for Avium. Her markings alone took me a whole class pretty much. And then I loved Dolens- *KylieKattu - THANK YOU for making his colours so easy to achieve with paint!!!!!!!!! And Corgs- Your character is too awesome for me to do her justice- and I'm sorry. <ii> Although, my art teacher probably wants to thank you both for getting me to do something other than cats. <^^>

SO ANYWAY. YOU SHOULD ALL GO JOIN IT. LIKE NOW. (If you can!) THEY ARE NOW ALLOWING CATS!!!!!! You should join with a dog anyway.
